マリア・ティーポの芸術を受け継ぐ
2025年に93歳で逝去したイタリア・ナポリ生まれの偉大なピアニスト、マリア・ティーポ。ジュネーヴ国際コンクール優勝以来、半世紀以上にわたり世界の主要な舞台で活躍し、その深い歌心と独自の音楽性によって多くの聴衆を魅了しました。
マルタ・アルゲリッチの少女時代からの憧れの存在であり、また教育者としても卓越した存在でした。フィレンツェのフィエーゾレ音楽学校やジュネーヴ音楽院において数多くの若い音楽家を育てました。アンドレア・ルッケシーニ、ピエトロ・デ・マリア、ネルソン・ゲルナーをはじめ、今日国際的に活躍する多くのピアニストがその門下から生まれています。
本マスタークラスは、マリア・ティーポの芸術と教育の遺産を記念し、彼女の音楽的精神を受け継ぐ音楽家たちを迎えて開催されます。講師には、ティーポの最も重要な門下生の一人であるピアニスト アンドレア・ルッケシーニ、そしてヴァイオリニストでありティーポの娘でもある アリーナ・カンパニーを迎えます。
Fazioli Japanの全面的な協力により、Fazioli Piano Showroomにおいて2台のFazioliフルコンサートグランドによるレッスンが実現。イタリア文化会館招聘による来日という特別な機会に、イタリアの芸術理念を学べる本マスタークラスは、ティーポが生涯をかけて大切にしてきた音楽の精神を次の世代へ伝える特別な機会となるでしょう。
Inheriting the Art of Maria Tipo
Maria Tipo, the great Italian pianist born in Naples, passed away in 2025 at the age of 93. Since winning the Geneva International Competition, she graced the world's most prestigious stages for over half a century, captivating audiences with her profound musicality and unique artistry.
An idol to Martha Argerich from her youth, Tipo was equally distinguished as an educator at the Fiesole School of Music and the Geneva Conservatory. Her students include Andrea Lucchesini, Pietro De Maria, and Nelson Goerner, among many internationally acclaimed pianists.
This masterclass honors the artistic and pedagogical legacy of Maria Tipo, welcoming musicians who carry on her musical spirit. Faculty includes pianist Andrea Lucchesini, one of Tipo's most important students, and violinist Alina Company, Tipo's daughter.
With the full support of Fazioli Japan, lessons will take place on two Fazioli full concert grand pianos at the Fazioli Piano Showroom in Tokyo — a truly exceptional opportunity to study the Italian artistic tradition during the maestri's visit, arranged by the Italian Cultural Institute.
